Art and Technology was a new course they added last year to my curriculum. I worked with second grade students on a Henri Matisse lesson where we created digital collages. We focused on organic and geometric shapes in addition to composition and color. They loved creating these mess free collages and we displayed them outside our computer lab!

Thankful Achievements
This year I received the outstanding teacher of the year award nominated by my district for the Shippensburg Study Council. I also received my Masters Degree in Art Education from Kutztown University. I am very honored and grateful for such a blessing this year has been to the hard work and importance I wish to share through the arts. Thank you everyone who has contributed to my successes and honors!

The Paper Moon!
This resturaunt is fabulous! It gave me tons of inspiration and creativity and visual stimulation was everywhere!!!! Since moving to Baltimore I got to enjoy this funky, fun and delicious place to celebrate my sisters birthday with her and my mom. This was featured on diners, drive-ins and dives and I finally got a taste!
Create an APP- Sketchbook Challenge!
My 5th and 6th grade students each have their own sketchbook we hand made at the beginning of the school year. Once or twice a month I assign sketchbook challenges ( code name for homework) to my students and they LOVE completing them. This past week they were challenged to create an APP icon and concept for smart devices. Check out what they came up with! AMAZING!!!
